“And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals” – Revelation 5:1
These diagrams show how, by paying attention to the direction of flow in the 12 sides, the Qabalistic Cube of Space may be resolved into two “book-like” shapes for the purposes of personal meditation.
Place yourself in centre and imagine energy flowing around you. The imagined flow may be angular, as drawn, or rounded into a circle with two adjoining “U” shapes. The “opening” faces are East and Above. The “binding” faces are West and Below.
What’s interesting about these arrangements is that, in both, the “book” formed is sealed shut by the four sides and one centre line that run North – South on the Cube. The Tarot keys assigned to these lines are Keys 6, 7, 14, 15, and 20, in other words, those of the four Archangels and the Self. Note that the line assigned to the Archangel of Earth, Auriel, remains “on the binding” in both arrangements. This may inspire some powerful images!
